Practical Information
This internationally recognized two-day course is organized by Femicare VZW and is certified by IUSTI Europe, ISIDOG, and EBCOG as a master course in “Training in Diagnosis and Microscopy of Vulvo-Vaginal Infectious Pathology.” An application for accreditation has also been submitted to the RIZIV (Belgian Federal Accreditation Agency).
The speakers and tutors are all leading authorities in the field, with various international publications and extensive clinical experience. All have received training in microscopy at the Femicare Research Unit.
Costs
Participation costs: €635 (Residents/Students: €350)
Participation costs for ISIDOG members: €590 (Residents/Students: €315)
This fee includes the course, instructors, hands-on microscopy with four live microscopes and screens, two breakfasts, two coffee breaks, two lunches, and an exclusive dinner. There will also be an exam with a certificate issued upon completion. No previous experience is necessary.
Number of participants
Participation in this course is exclusive and strictly limited to 15 participants.
What to bring?
If possible, you are kindly requested to bring some air-dried swabs for viewing and discussion. However, this is not obligatory.
Location
Femicare is located in the Fit ‘n Form building at Gasthuismolenstraat 31, 3300 Tienen.
The location is easily accessible by foot or taxi from the train station, or by car. Parking is available at the building.
Where to stay?
A special rate has been negotiated with Hotel Kronacker for participants of this course. The hotel is within walking distance.
Exclusive dinner
The participation fee includes an exclusive dinner at the Fidalgo restaurant on the evening of Day 1.
If you are unable to attend, please inform us during the morning session on Day 1. Any dietary requirements should be communicated when registering for the course.
